Sydney's Creature Adventures

If you venture all the way to Sydney then you will certainly want to be sure and spend some time with the amazing creatures of this region and the Taronga Zoo is a favorite Sydney attraction for just this very reason. And while this region is filled with endless creature experiences none are quite as exciting as this amazing wildlife adventure.

Just as with many of the worlds zoos the Taronga Zoo is one that isn't only filled with a variety of creatures but those indigenous to this region live in a relatively natural setting when at all possible and Australian Zoos does not consist of cages but of mostly free land for the creatures to roam and explore. Here you are going to get to watch gorillas, koalas, and kangaroos explore their world and enjoy their habitat.

This location offers many amazing events and special treats and one of the most spectacular and interesting experiences being offered at the Taronga Zoo is the Roar and Snore. This one of a kind experience is somewhat of an adventure and many love the idea of camping out in the wild.

The Roar and Snore experience starts in the evening with some snacks, a tour of the grounds and a wonderful dinner. Then immediately following dinner is a nighttime safari which enables you to experience all of the nocturnal creatures and allows you a different outlook on the zoo. Next it's time to hit the hay because your morning will start early as it does for all the people and creatures of the zoo.

In the morning you are going to awake to a fantastic continental breakfast followed by two behind the scenes tours that enable you to experience feeding time at the zoo and the opening up of all the unique attractions. As part of your admission to the Roar and Snore you will also have the ability to spend the whole day in the zoo taking in all the attractions and shows throughout the day all the time knowing what occurs when the sun goes down at the Taronga Zoo.

Kangaroos and Koalas, birds and gorillas this is one unique Sydney attraction that you definitely will not want to miss. Exciting adventures at every turn this is one unique experience that is fun for the whole family and with good food and creatures galore there is little not to love about Roar and Snore at the Taronga Zoo.

Hawaii - The Adventure Islands

Famous for its surfing beaches, Mai Tais & world famous shopping, Hawaii is a destination on top of many peoples travel lists. Among the many reasons why so many people choose Hawaii, adventure touring is high up on my list. You can do almost everything here which range from parasailing to volcano safaris to surfing lessons on Waikiki beach. Below is my story of my Hawaii adventure.

Shark Diving is one of my favourite adventure activities and located on the North Shore of Oahus island you can jump in the water with a large school of Galapagos sharks. These mid depth sharks follow the sounds of fishing boats in hope of a free feed and the sound of any boat within these waters will bring the predators to the surface. Underwater it is such a surreal experience watching these sharks coming within centimetres of the cage and from all directions. Depending on the day you can see around 20 of these sharks around the cage and the boat.

Hawaiis marine life doesnt stop at just sharks, dolphin swims are very popular whether you are swimming with a wild pod of dolphins or taking a visit to Honolulus Sea Life Park. At this marine park the dolphin swim includes a kiss and cuddle from the dolphins which makes for great photos but you also get to have a play around with them too. Getting a dorsal tow from two of the dolphins and being pushed across the surface of the water are just some of the activities that you can do with these beautiful creatures. Of all the tours in Hawaii that you can do this one is what will make all your friends and family envious. Within the park there are other species of marine life such as penguins, sea lions, sea turtles, stings rays and other tropical reef fish. In the reef tank you can put on something like a space helmet and actually walk through the aquarium and hand feed the friendly Eagle Ray. The sea trek is probably the most unique adventure activity I have ever experienced.

If you are after unique tours and experiences then another activity to consider is the Atlantis Submarine. Submerging down to 104ft below the waters surface to ship and plane wrecks is a wondrous experience. Among the wrecks many reef fish such as Butterfly Fish, Amberjacks, Porcupine Puffer-fish as well as Sea Turtles, reef sharks and if youre lucky you may see humpback whales in season. At 104ft below the reefs looks other worldly among the wrecks but on the contrary the wrecks provide shelter so this delicate eco system can thrive.

Hawaii is a place of unlimited adventure, excitement and fun for the whole family. The activities here are no like no other place on Earth so dont miss out on booking some sort of adventure tour. Here I have just given you some ideas of adventure tours but there are many others such as Whale Watching, Kualoa Ranch, Pearl Harbour, Kayaking tours, Snorkelling and many more. Adventure Holiday In Mauritius

Have you ever thought of spending an adventure holiday in an island paradise? If yes, then Mauritius may appeal to you. Your holiday in Mauritius could be the experience of a life time, as you can participate in exciting watersports and zip through the trees, only to return after a day of excitement to your luxury Mauritius hotel. And if you do not want to do anything energetic, you can go to the pearly-white beach and the sparkling Indian Ocean.

Under the Sea

Ever fancied riding a scooter under the sea? Well you could have your first experience on a Mauritius holiday. One of the most entertaining activities you can do in Mauritius is to go for a ride on a sub-scooter. Mauritius has introduced the world's first underwater scooter, where holidaymakers can scoot about in the Indian Ocean, three metres below the water's surface.

You are lowered into the water in a bubble, where you can breathe freely and feel safe in the knowledge that a trained diver is looking out for you.

You will also be attached to a buoy bobbing on the surface, so your exact location is constantly clear. Scooting under the sea, you can watch the colourful Indian Ocean fish swim by, and feel like you're part of the marine life. Sub-scooting is definitely a different and exciting activity when on a Mauritius holiday and is a fantastic way to discover the underwater world if you are not a Scuba diver.

Zip-Lining Through the Forests

If you've ever had a fantasy of being like Tarzan and swinging your way through a forest of trees, zip-lining on your Mauritius holiday could be quite an experience.

After a few days of relaxing on the beautiful beach and enjoying spa treatments at your Mauritius hotel, you can venture inland to a place called Cerfs Volantis, where a sugar-cane plantation awaits you.

Here, you can experience the rush of zipping through the trees, as the gurgling river and pretty waterfalls churn beneath you. Fully strapped and harnessed in, this sport is safe and fun, allowing you to discover Mauritius' inland beauty. As you zip through the trees and over the river, keep an eye out for beautiful places to swim. And when you have a rest between your zipping stints, you can swim in the river and beneath the sparkling waterfalls. After a day of excitement such as this one, your Mauritius hotel will be a welcoming thought, where you can sit at the bar as the sun sets over the ocean and relive the exciting stories of your day on holiday in Mauritius.

Planning a Camping Adventure

Each year, millions of campers head out to their local state parks or other public campgrounds. Still others head out for more remote areas where there is less people and less noise. No matter where you're favorite hot spot is, having everything on hand, and in tip top shape will ensure that you're next camping adventure will leave you with a lot of great memories.

If your camping adventures are aimed at fishing, hunting, kayaking or just enjoying nature, it's important that you plan ahead to that you prepared for the unexpected. We're not talking about being prepared for natural disasters or anything extreme like that. When take the time to think about everything that you may need; should that need arise you'll be very happy that you spent the time effectively panning.

Before getting into the details of planning your next camping adventure, you should start of making a list of essentials that you won't want to go without.

It's a good idea to look over your existing camping equipment to be sure it's ready for another camping season. Wear and tear along with the natural eliminates will eventually take their toll on your equipment. Finding out ahead of time that you need to replace some gear is much better than when you begin setting up your camping site.

You may want to consider setting up your tent in advance of your trip. The tent may look in great condition, but missing parts is never a good thing once you're at the camping site. So taking the time to setup the tent while at home will help ensure that you can repair your tent or purchase a replacement, if needed.

If you find that some of your gear is in need of a replacement, have a look at our great SUV Tents.

These tents are designed for any size SUV and have a lot of super features. If you have a truck without a cap, then perhaps one of our cool pickup truck tents would be a good option for you. Once again these tents have great features that will enhance your camping experience.
